Mental health week

Mental Health Week is coming up (4th – 10th October). Mental Health Week is about promoting awareness of the importance of mental health and well-being, and to encourage participation in life enhancing lifestyles. Physical activity, good nutrition, being part of a community, and supportive environments are just some of the ingredients to maintaining good mental health and wellbeing. Many promotional activities and events will be held throughout Mental Health Week in and around Karratha to celebrate such as ‘Big Pram Walk’ (Sunday 4th October), ‘Stress Less Day Yoga’ in Karratha, Dampier and Point Sampson (Wed 7th October), and a ‘Positive Lifestyle Behaviours’ stall in Karratha Centro (Thursday 8th October). If you live in Roebourne, Tom Price, Paraburdoo, and Hedland, keep your eyes peeled for Mental Health Week events being held in your area also!
