Communities For Children
The Communities For Children Initiative is funded by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (‘FaHCSIA’) www.facsia.gov.au
Communities for Children is an innovative model that builds on the principles of community engagement and ownership by providing communities with the opportunity to identify and resolve their own issues. The approach seeks to achieve better outcomes for children aged 0 – 12 and their families.
Our site is managed by a Consortium (called the Facilitating Partner) which is made up of the Shire of Roebourne, Shire of Ashburton, Pilbara Regional Domestic Violence Council and Regional Development Australia Pilbara (RDA Pilbara) as the lead agency.
